Zinda

Unarguably the film of the year. Sanjay Gupta has succeeded in crafting a brilliant psycho-analytic comedy which will have you rolling down the aisle with laughter. Sanjay Dutt plays the role of the maniac Koreaan Oh-Dae-Soo with consummate ease, while John Abraham watches with consummate ease. Mahesh Manjrekar and Raj Zutshi play the love interests, also with consummate ease.

Bollywood has never seen a movie like Zinda. The film scores in all aspects. Special mention must be made of the director who adds an 'F' to his name and does the cinematography. The soundtrack is awesome, with the title song Zinda hai par ganda hai yeh, standin out. The movie is being remade into all major languages like Korean, Kannada and Bahasa.

Wedding Crashers

An insipid remake of the cult Malayalam classic, Kalyana Unnikal, directed by the prolific Jagathy Sreekumar. Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn fail miserably to match upto the roles immortalised by Baiju and Mahesh in the original. Give this one a miss.
